Our devotions this morning fell this way: Deuteronomy 15, Acts 10, Philippians 4. In Deuteronomy God commands us to be generous with the poor. In Acts Cornelius is the first Gentile to receive the Holy Spirit BECAUSE OF his generosity. In Philippians, Paul thanks them for their generosity and hints at the need for more. It often amazes me how the three chapters we read each day hit on the same subject! How generous have you been? That is the question for today...
